Who is behind the site?
Ovalk is an independent project operated by Kevin, based in Malaysia. It brings together browser-based utilities and troubleshooting references for people maintaining web services, Linux systems, databases and containers.
Kevin is the site maintainer and contact for corrections: hello@ovalk.com. Ovalk is not affiliated with the software vendors mentioned in its guides and does not provide an emergency incident-response service.

Every guide starts with symptoms and impact, then moves through low-risk evidence, recovery options, and preventive action. Example commands are never a substitute for judgment.
Practical, scoped guidance
Guides state their operating assumptions and call out destructive actions, data-loss risk, and rollback conditions so readers can make safe decisions in their own environment.
Useful under pressure
Tools and runbooks are designed to stay readable and usable during an incident. Ad placements are labelled separately from editorial content. Advertising does not determine the technical recommendations and is not an endorsement.
How the guides are prepared
Each runbook brings a specific symptom together with operating assumptions, evidence interpretation, an illustrative example, recovery checks, a rollback boundary and links to reference documentation.
